It all began one dark and stormy night... Thunder crashed; lightning struck. The manor's lights flickered. “Wait, wait, wait... wrong origin story.”

Carson Potts and Tony Gee met at McCurty’s Comedy Club in Sarasota, Florida, while honing their craft in stand-up. Sharing a passion for creativity, joke structure, and clean comedy, they soon created Clown Town—a production company dedicated to bringing professional clean comedy shows to audiences and communities across the country.

Alongside its shows, Clown Town operates coaching designed to help comedians develop their material, sharpen their joke-writing skills, and grow their on-stage presence.

What started as two comedians workshopping material together has grown into a platform for both delivering great clean comedy shows and developing the next generation of local talent.
